The work of Terry Doyle It seems to me that the world has lost yet another talented individual. On this page are pages of artwork and design by Terry Doyle that appeared in a 1980s fanzine series produced by my friend Andrew O'Day; the fanzine was titled Sci-Fi Times (later S-FT) and the impressive crisp line ink illustrations from Terry Doyle were among the highlights of that fanzine. The main body of work that Terry contributed to Sci-Fi Times was a partial adaptation of an episode of The Outer Limits, the classic sci-fi anthology series. The episode chosen was Demon With A Glass Hand and 9 pages of artwork were presented for issues 2 and 3. All 9 pages are shown here. Terry also contributed graphic design logos that were used for the fanzine as well as providing written features on The Outer Limits and Star Trek. His very distinctive work remains very striking to this day and I hope he continued this talented vein of work beyond Sci-Fi Times and his own Shadow Play fanzine, an advert for which, designed by Terry, is also included below.
